Mossy Rock

I'm not good at keeping notes. So I don't remember where this rock was. Either Haverfordwest or Solva.

Have I succeeded? I believe it was hand-held.

Just thought I'd make a comment having seen your forum post.

It looks to me as if the problem here is that you have taken the shot in bright sunlight when this sort of shot works best in diffused light (bright overcast) to bring out the green of the moss.
The high contrast caused by the sun has rather killed the shot. I believe you are a film user so try using a warm-up filter in overcast light to make the greens 'pop' and get rid of any blue cast. Hope this is of some help.

thank you very much for your comment. I am indeed a film user. And yes this was shot in very sunny conditions.

Somehow, this image looks duller since I uploaded it to my portfolio. I looked at the slide on a projector screen and it looked quite good. Otherwise I may not have uploaded it.

I really should get out more!! Overcast days are brilliant or so I'm told. Smile.
