Carmargue Horse Rearing

Julie the rider one of the Carmague Gardian's (Lucien the horse owners daughter) is only 14 but her horse skills are unbelievable it was only after i had seen her cantering through the marshes at top speed then rearing her horse like this that on looking back on the photos i realised she was riding bareback.

You can see the self assurance and calm in the rider's expression. Horses on the other hand are so easily frightened and cponfused. TG

Beautiful image. Well captured. They are certainly skilled riders. They also didn't seem to wear enough clothes and got soaking wet whilst we were shivering out of the water!
