    You are right.
the colours are very rich and summery.

Know what you mean with not knowing what to wear. it is the same here. I wear a body warmer but also shorts and sandals.

    Thank you for your comment.
The feet in or out bothered me a long time. I decided for the crop as that resulted in a more of the "viewer drawn into the photo", if you know what I mean.
Showing the man full length meant that he was further away in the frame and thus there was less of a visual contact imo.

Thank you for the award. it is appreciated as these do not come often to me. Smile

    Thank you for your comments.

Ron, trying hard to improve the quality of my photos and trying even harder to judge them critically.
As such the number of uploads has reduced dramatically but hoping that the photographic quality has increased comparatively.

as always, Any comments are welcome.

well spotted. what are the chances of having a symmetrical photo and a tree right behind where the man is sitting!!
like the harshness of the print.

How did you manage to capture him whilst off guard?

  • i like the way you see things.

  • your rodeo photos dominate quite rightly your portfolio, they are great action photos.
I however equally like your black and white portraits from sports people which occur every now and again like gems in a jewel box.

All in all a portfolio to be proud of.
