This works equally well in B&W. They both have something going for them. If I didn't know how gorgeously garish the colours were I would have been wowed by this on its own. Personal taste says the colour version wins for me, but it was a close run choice.

Tim,
Thank you for your comment. the coloured one was my favorite too, but mono is more in line with the B&W character of the 'fun fair' series.

B&W brings a very different atmosphere to this, whilst I do like the colour version, this for me tells much more of a story and I can actually see much more.
Very well seen, and converted. I love the full frame of busyness.

I'm looking at the people more in this one.
Something weird is happening - I'm seeing an EPZ test upload of the site's logo as your latest gallery upload. Are you seeing that or is it just me??

Love the mono version as it (for me) has added to the clarity and sharpness. I also have received the EPZ test upload which has been deleted...RaySmile

dear all, the test upload was indeed what it stated to be... a test upload by EPZ...
my panorama button somehow got unstuck and needed fixing. so Rick (EPZ) did a test upload to see if it was working.
Thank you for those, who voted on the test upload...

the B&W somehow feels more at ease...and seems sharper too.. I agree.
I like chase's (janet) "Wall of Business" for this kind of photos..
There is something to see right across the frame...

I am happy you like the image too.

Cooky just gave me her User award.. thank you for that.

The award is my comment Robert! Absolute gem and the don't miss the colour as the detail and lighting are both fantastic!

Well done.

Both are great images, but the b/w reveals the detail including the expressions of the visitors best.
They are two quite different mages and I like them both

This is excellent in b&w. So much sharper and so much of interest.

This brings out the detail far better - it reminds me of one of those images where an object has been hidden amongst the clutter and our job is to find it.

Black & white for lines and detail, which this image has in great profusion. Ergo, I like it a lot Smile
