Colour is warmer and conveys more empathy - pretty drastic solution!

Thanks Neville, yes you are right...The main problem in India is population, It is a Country of about 135 crore people, no political party is interested to take measure in it rather they are trying to cope up with the effect of it...

An excellent capture of a pore unfortunate soul, Somnath.

Two completely different images. The colour is warm and bright - a man sitting in the window of his home enjoying the sun. In the b&w he is a prisoner looking out at the world he is no longer a part of.

Have a great trip!

Thanks John, Oliver and Malc...Malc, in India, there is no scope for enjoying the Sun Wink , even at the winter Sun can burn anyone's skin, and the date of taking the image suggesting, it is Summer...A Huge Thank to Oliver for your Valued Award, It is Highly Appreciated...

Two great images. And, yes, they are so different in mood. Iím a complete addict to B&W, but the colour version gets my award. Great environmental portrait.

i vote for v.1 (colour) because, quite paradoxically, it tells the story in a stronger way

Composition and expression make this image. I cannot decide which I like the most, both work for me.

I think the mono is more fitting for the employment situation.
Many of our people don't have permanent jobs either but the population numbers in India must lead to desperation.
