Nice shot but I would tweak the levels a touch to give a little more contrast and use the healing brush to remove the dark areas under the eyes + a little bit of USM.

Thanks for your kind comment, I spent many years painting portraits (not very well) but it does teach one to really look at people, especially the eyes, I am quite new to doing photography seriously, practice and relaxing people, shooting very quickly help me get my shots, am really bad at the technical side of it though, thanks again

Like it Smile .. the version with your head slightly angled in your profile picture I thought was slighty better but thats just in my humble opinion !

I'm going out on a limb here Liz...I think I'd like to see _more_ light on your face, coming in from _your_ left..I'm sure it would improve the shot, letting the viewer see your bone structure betterSmile Nothing wrong if _you_ prefer this of course...we all see our pics differently, don't we?
