Down and Out in Prague

By Coast
A second image from Prague to go with golden boots. This is a street beggar taken in Prague at the beginning of April. Different to other European cities I have been to the Beggars here generally perch on all fours with the head down and cap in extended arms.

I dropped a coin into his hat in thanks for the pictures I was about to take - on the last of threeframes I took he looked up at me. What is not apparent in the B&W conversion is his nose was bleeding heavily. The dark splashes on the floor the only visible element of his condition!

Converted in CS3 with a contrast layer added. A little bit of dodging and burning too.

Thank you for looking and please comment.
