Afghan in pictures No.16

Out on the ground, soldiers have an uncanny knack of making themselves comfortable where ever they are.
This shot shows where one soldier has made his own space in the Kandahar football stadium.
Not even the basic niceties, no electricity, no running water.
Despite that, the constant close proximity of helmet, body armour and weapon reminds you that it could be a whole lot worse.
