Hi,
If you see a photo and you don't like it, please stop long enough to tell me why and I will try to improve. Equally, if I've got it right, that's nice to know too ;o)

Fretboard 'n' Floorboards by Bimpon007
Hi Ben,
I'm jealous - nice guitar.
As for the reflections - use a piece of card to stop the flash from shining directly onto the guitar. Then bounce the flash off the walls to light the guitar with a softer and sideways light.
Alternatively, depending on your equipment, take the flash off the camera and displace it so there are no reflections.

Caressing light by fb101
Lovely lighting effect, and the pose is great, so moody.
I hope you don't mind me commenting, but was there a view outside? It might have been nice to have a vestage of an urban landscape, recognisable but out of focus. This would also tone down the brightness of the window. Please don't take it as a criticism, it's just an idea.- 26 Apr 2006 10:45AM

Blue Eyes by CornishEyes
A very good portrait, and excellent for your first attempt. Her eyes are a great colour, and you've managed to show them very well.
If you get the chance to photograph the model again, try it without the hat. She has fabulous hair and it would be good to show it.
Great work :o)- 25 Apr 2006 5:14AM

2 Anoles by BrittO
Most of us never get to see such things, and you've got two shots of Anoles 'at it'! Their not purchased from Walmart are they, a bit like the 'Jessops blow-up Sheep/ducks/swans' we get over here in the UK?
Considering your rush, this is very well composed. It's a shame the tail has gone out of focus, but we can't have everything... The colours are great and work well together.- 25 Apr 2006 2:15AM

Eye contact by Marky458
I was just looking at the pic, thinking simialrly to Toppix, but now I tend to think it's the unusual composition that grabbed my attention. The arm needs to be part of it for me, though maybe toned down a bit as it's as bright or brighter than her face. At most a stop.
I love the sweeping composition, curving right to the top, with the model creating an almost secretive appeal. Nice.- 14 Apr 2006 11:35PM
