Fire in the sky

By ColleenA
Yesterday afternoon was pretty cloudy but as the sun started to set the clouds turned greyish pink....see V2 and 3 .. about 10 mins later I looked up and the sky was on fire. This is the view from my balcony overlooking Albert Park lake and the sea. ...the sunset caught myself and most of my friends out, only a handful were out with their cameras. There were so many different types of clouds one upon each other....almost apocalypse in nature
The versions show how a few minutes makes such a difference

The colours in Version 2 are extraordinary! Version 1 is my favourite of the four pictures. The tightly spaced buildings of a big city, some reflecting the light of the vibrant sunset, make a strong and appealing image. One small issue: on the right side of the picture, roughly in he middle vertically, is a sensor or lens spot.

It’s an airplane passing by not a lens spot. That’s the flight path into our airport. I was going to clone it out but decided not to.
