Revolutionising Tripods: The Benro Theta Is An Auto-Levelling Travel Tripod

Graceful

By ColleenA
A black swan from the Albert Park lake (F1 GP track is around this lake ) across the road from where I stay.
We have hundreds of black swans who call the lake home.
Many thanks for your votes comments and user awards all much appreciated
I unfortunately go back into hospital tomorrow as itĀ’s now 7 weeks since my knee replacement and the scar tissue is preventing me from fully bending my knee. So they take me into theatre and do an MUA which is manipulation under anaesthetic where they forcefully bend your knee till the scar tissue cracks....sounds charming glad IĀ’ll be asleep. Hopefully itĀ’s successful.

Absolutely beautiful and perfectly executed. Many thanks for sharing.

Colleen, question please. Why no information regarding the equipment you used?

Also, prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery. God Bless.

Cheers,

Tony

Beautifully captured image Colleen. I wonder what they think when the F1 circus is in town.
Hope all goes well with the hospital visit. Sounds very unpleasant.

I reckon they hide on the island in the middle of the lake. They do like to wander into the parkland but hopefully the noise scares them enough to stay safe. I’ll have a good view from our 29th floor rooftop garden of the track on Raceday I’ll be out there with my long lens.

Thoughts are with you, hoping the procedure is successful and not too painful this time.
Lovely swan, is the white in the beak normal?
Lovely image.

There are Black Swans in the UK but mainly in collections.
Wishing you all the best for the manipulation and hopefully another step in your recovery.

A wonderful capture of the black swan, Colleen, not actually seen one 'in the flesh' for several years 😃👍
Good luck with the hospital. I'm very squeamish, and would need to be completely out when they did it 😳

Hmmm...former ballet dancer in childhood ...that explains the bad knee ! I am sure you will be on some good drugs when you wake up Colleen ...best wishes .
By the time I write this your procedure maybe all finished . Go slow and follow their directions ..
Many a knee replacement has gone sideways and some people have to be re-operated on due to patients not following directions and or rushing things during recovery.

Oh yeah ...the shot absolutely stunning ...only thing I would change is maybe not quite such a bright red beak.
Thats just me , maybe they are all that shade of red
Best regards
Walt

I did everything by the book. Stayed in hospital 4 days then in rehab hospital for another 10 days. Had physios dealing with me for up to three hours a day. Since I’ve been home I have done all my daily exercises plus going to Physio four times a week. My X-rays show the surgery was successful but Sadly some people like myself battle with tight scar tissue.
And yes the swans have bright red beaks.
