Jacaranda blues

By ColleenA
Good morning......
Thank you for your continued support with my images and your well wishes for Rob. Unfortunately his hip has deteriorated and will hopefully last until we get back in January so he can have a hip replacement. We will carry on with the holiday but will skip the Perth test and remain in Adelaide so he can rest.

A huge than you to Maureen (HarrietH) for her UA, much appreciated.

A Jacaranda in bloom today....the streets of Adelaide are awash with blue trees at present...

Am leaving Rob in the room and I am venturing out to capture some City sights this morning...he is seriously happy with the cricket resultsGrinGrinGrin
Have a nice day

When I saw your title, I thought you were getting the 'blues' & missing home - guess you have Jacaranda's in SA, same as here in Kenya? Beautiful image, as always, Colleen.
Sorry to hear about Rob's prognosis, but at least now you know and can face the future remedy.

Lovely picture and I like these flowers very much - but what a mess they make when they fall!

Make the most of your own leisure time when not being a nurse.
You need a rest too!

A divine image, Colleen. We have these beautiful trees here, but they always bloom so high up, I've never managed to get a good image of one. Glad to hear you are not having to return home earlier than expected, bet you're pleased Smile Carol

This looks like a ornate chandelier of blue flowers. Green leaves are acting as guards. Very pretty. \i can visualise how lovely the city must be looking with these flowers. Hope with time things will be all right. Best wishes.

Yes, the Jacaranda’s are a sight for everyones sore eyes here in Perth too.
This capture of your single blossom even has a bee in it,well done. The
clusters are like the bluebell fower.
Sorry to hear of Rob’s ailment and that you won’t be coming to Perth. We will
still have the joy of your lovely blooms…….WinkWinkWink

Oh dear, poor Rob Sad It's bad enough being taken ill at the best of times, but is ten times worse when away on holiday (as I experienced earlier in the year in Bavaria).
A very lovely capture here - the flower heads remind me of bluebells Wink
Take care, and look after hubby...

Sadly I could not get tickets for the first few days and was going to attend Days 4 and 5.... Then Rob hurt his back/hip....so stayed to look after him....our marriage would not have been good if I went to the cricket while he missed it....will upload images from the MCG in Melbourne
