Thank you once again for your votes and comments on my sand dunes and a special thanks to Lynette (Lynniesefforts), Albert (Fentinger), Jukka (Kuvilija) , Carol (Caziwinkles) and Myra (Myrab)....all much appreciated and treasure...
Back into the desert today...another amazing landscape. Really looks like a scene from the moon. Many film companies from around the world come to this desert to make films. One is Mad Max....

Another super set of images. I must say that as interesting as it is to see this place I have no thoughts of a visit, much to dry and hot for me, give me a wet old Scottish valley any day. Grin

A great set of really dramatic landscapes and as others have said I can see why these locations would be chosen by film makers. I love all of them but the colours in V6 does it for me.

Looks like an alien planet, but then I read that it is used by film companies, ,great orange sands and your meal last night sounded great Colleen, made my soup look very lowly GrinGrinGrin V6 looks wonderful

Moon is pretty boring as relief, Earth deserts are instead very attractive (you would not like the Moon relief after seeing the Namib desert ...)
(But if you want to see something you can not never forget, then you should continue your trip to the north for another 8,000 km - search on google images : "Tassili n' Ajjer" and "Ahaggar")
All the set is very interesting, of which emerges, for me pictures number 5 and 6
