Red red wine

By ColleenA
Just back from a two day trip to the Winelands in the Western Cape to an area called Franschoek. The weather besides being a very warm 38 deg did not play its part and never got either a sunset or a sunrise . So the next best thing was to photograph the red grapes growing (take note Tish). I did get up at 6am today to try for a sunrise. I apologize for not commenting on anyone's pics yesterday but the signal in the mountains was poor.

Note well and truely taken, how long before those grapes are matured, bottled and in my glass? Grin Purely medicinal, red wine warms the bones and is part of your 5 a day along with chocolate and the two combined are exquisite Tongue

Great landscape of a fantastic subject, the mountains look pretty cool too, under that cloudless sky. As JohnKe says, very sharp, as for the thirds rule, we obviously don't have that in the UK.

Headline News! This mornings fog has now given way to beautiful sunshine, with little cloud, severe frost forcast for tonight, but a small price to pay for that rare sunshine.

How disappointing not to get a sunrise but at least you've got a lovely blue sky.
Hope you enjoyed a glass of wine too.
