V2 for me, that crop works a treat. A for him not smiling, for all we know he might be in fits of hysteria, but just hiding it well!

Whilst everybody is going for V2 which is excellent for close up detail, I like V1 for the wider view
and seeing those lovely warm colours in the hide which goes so well with the b/g furthe enhanced by your bordes Colleen.
Full marks for the images themselves but also what I see as artistic effort.

Fantastic shots, in V2 I like the way you can see all the flies on him! I've got a few flies in my kitchen at the moment, luckily they like the rubbish more than they like my head!
Back to these shots, they are both wonderful - I love buffalo.
