Back to flowers today.....found these unusual flowers growing in the Lily pad hot house at the Adelaide botanical gardens. they are about a foot long and the bush is full of them....see the versions....up close and the big picture.
Andrew from Singapore has kindly ID'd this flower as Heliconia rostrata....commonly known as Hanging Lobster claw....this can clearly be seen in one of my versions....
