Enkianthus Campanulatus

By DicksPics
Another image taken at Bodnant Gardens in North Wales earlier this week.
This shrub featured on the televised Chelsea Flower Show programme last night – which is why I know its name!!Smile
V1 is a cropped version of V2 - I was unsure which version to lead with but, I do like to see the beautiful bell shaped flower heads in all their glory!
I also like the composition of V1 - choices, choices - what do you think??
Thanks for all views, votes and comments on my ‘Laburnum Arch at Bodnant Gardens’ upload – very much appreciated, as always!Smile
And special thanks to Lin(sweetpea62) and Jan(janlea) for their treasured User Awards!SmileSmile
Richard

I like V2, that lovely green of the leaves offsets the colour of those dainty flowers.

I think I prefer the complete composition of V2 to the closer crop of V1, Richard, but in any case excellent colour and detail. Well done mate.

What beautiful flowers Smile Both are great versions, I like the inclusion of the leaves in V2, but the crop in V1 concentrates the eye more on the flowers themselves. If I'd to choose, I think V1 just wins it for me Wink

V1 because it's simpler and more to the point. For me, there's a lot in V2 that's unnecessary and distracting.

Both are very good botanical studies, Richard.
I'll pick V1, because I'm short sighted Grin

PS: Not a new camera, I carry two bodies. Some, rather unkindly, say I'm the size of two bodies, too...
