'Into The Wild Blue Yonder'

By briantjjones
Hi Folks, Decided to revisit some of the images from a trip to Alaska last autumn 2013. I unfortunatey cracked a couple of ribs last week hence not posting any images for a few days Sad.

This image was taken early one morning while in Ketchican. I liked the way the mist created the different layers and contrast. Sea planes are a very common form of transport in and around the Inside Passage and this one just happened to be in the right place at the right timeSmile I hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend.

Regards, Brian J.

A wonderful area to have been able to visit, Brian, and capturing the seaplane in flight must have been a bonus: love there light catching on the upper wing surfaces, and your shot is such an excellent example of aerial perspective.
