What a wonderful institution, the story has taken over the image for me. How many cities have that, I wonder?

Do the blind see in colour? or is it all B&W? (quickly adding - not meant to disrespect anyone who is visually challenged) Smile

Well captured image Nezih, the Topaz software certainly brings out the textures in the B&W shot, my favourite.

Moira

I agree with Moira on this - for us photographers this institution should make us very, very grateful for our sight.

This is a wonderful idea, every city should have such a library.
I like the color of the building, but the mono makes a much better image. The detailing and contrasts are beautiful.

It is always interesting to see the original color images, Mono works very well here--

I love the lightness of your Mono, Nezih, yet with incredible detail.
I must get to grips with Topaz B&W, had no idea it was capable of this (in the right hands!).
Interesting, too, to see what you started with.
I agree with others, sight is so precious, yet we take it for granted.

The additional textural detail in the monochrome easily tips the balance for me, Nezih, though I am interested to see the colour too.
An admirable institution in every way!

The mono image is really alive. You've done an excellent conversion. The colour version is just so flat in comaprison.
