Prunus cerasifera (eng. Cherry plum, rom. Corcoduş flower on a yellow background of Forsythia
Prunus cerasifera is a tree highly met, especially in rural areas throughout Romania, cultivated or spontaneous (roadside); therefore the image of the Romanian villages in March-April is superb, especially that the villagers cultivate and other fruit trees have flowers slightly different colors and shades.
The prunus cerasifera fruit (rom. corcoduşa) is the fruit of childhood: in Romania is impossible, (due of the abundance of the tree) as a child to not have picked (stolen) fruits from the tree of someone or anyone (along the roadside)
Here is a decorative species, the largest park in Bucharest, Herăstrău in March 2014 (The tree is located in the place where are many tits, a protective association has built a box home in a tree and have it "meals" hanging branches filled with grain)
Thank you all for I've cleared that what is Silly Sunday (thought to have a general sense, I did not know that this "concept" came to life in the laboratories of the EPZ....)
