A profusion of purple

By ColleenA
Good morning...
Once again thank you to the wonderful response to my Pincushions....
Thank you also to Jukka (Kuvailija) Nathan and Trev (TrevbatwingWCC) for their UA's
Another flower image from the beautiful Kirstenbosch gardens. The slopes of the mountains are covered at this time of the year in a blaze of purple. Today I decided to lead with the bigger picture instead of my usual close ups. Saturday was a really dark cloudy day.
Have a nice day....

A wonderful set, Colleen, such a beautiful colour. I am pleased to say that I have this particular flower in my garden, too, and also in the pink variety, now I know it originates from SA Smile Carol

The Kirstenboch Gardens must be a dream to see judging by all your uploads so far.
All five of these are stunning, well considered images.I like your use of colour contrast in V5.
V3 is fiendishly clever and hard to get this sort of image just right.
Seeing beauty like this makes me want to live my life over again.
