Buzz off...I'm bizzy hanging around

By ColleenA
Good morning from a wet cold Cape town again....day 5Sad

Thank you again for all the great comments about my Flower and the Humming bird moth and to Herman (Hermanus), Trev (TrevBat WCC) and Netta (Netta123) for their UA's. These are special as that moth moves so fast you cannot see his wings with the naked eye and he moves at such a speed that its almost impossible to focus.

I went for a quick walk yesterday when we had our 10 minutes of sunshine and captured this bee , a bit out of my comfort zone but then Kate said I should find a new challengeGrinGrinGrinGrin I loved the way he has his legs swinging over the stamen. Two minutes later the heavens opened and I had to run a kilometre home with camera bag.

Have a nice WednesdayGrinGrinGrin

Well you can certainly rise to a challenge!
Was rushing yesterday so not much time to comment on your adventure with insects!
Excellent image, well captured considering the speed of these creatures!
Beautifully composed and framed.

good one Colleen never managed a decent shot of bees not quick enough playing catch up today so maybe more clicks than comments.

Great shot Colleen, especially to see what appears to be red pollen attached to the bees legs.
