Cheetah female

By ColleenA
Good morning, another rainy windy day in Cape Town
Once again thank you for all your votes and comments and a special thanks to Kathryn for her UA, I was chuffed.

This female cheetah was slowly making her way back after eating. (Early morning, the sun was just rising) We followed her awhile and then she headed into thick bush. She has 2 week old cubs which we weren't allowed to see as it compromises their hiding place and would therefore attract attention as they are very vulnerable to other predators at that age.

I will upload a V2 just for interest of her lying down, you can clearly see she is feeding and has had a meal.
You may have to view V2 as a smaller image as its a big file....uncropped as we were right next to her

Have a great day, I am chilling todayGrinGrinGrin

I can only see V1 at the moment, will come back later for V2. Wonderful shot with the light brightening her left eye and the lovely light pattern in the background.

Got V2 now though I can only see all of it when viewed as normal rather than large. That distended tummy says it all.
