3 Minis 2

By collinf
As promised, this is the other version of the Three Minis image in my portfolio. This one has the second car completely in focus.

Its a good shot...but if all was in focus it would have been great.

Thanks for posting this - always interesting to compare variation of shot/treatment. Tho' think in this case the 1st was the better!

I agree with Mark here. I like the first one better. But very nice angle and composition. Click

Me ... I like the new mini better than the old, but I am not really a mini person - never owned one, bit too close to the road - am I missing anything?? :o)

Having looked at both shots I think I would have tried taking the shot with a smaller aperture which may have helped with the focus problem, but it's all too easy for me to say that with hindsight is it not.....good effort....click

Folks

Many thanks for the your opinions of both shots. I can't decide which I prefer.

Ella: At least try and get a ride in one. You may love it, you may hate it, but you'll never forget it!

Ade: the focussing wasn't really a problem as the differential focus was the point of the exercise. Smile I have many shots where all the cars are in focus, but they (to me) are just snapshots with no holding interest.

Thanks all for your comments.

Classic cars. I just love them. Nice capture focusing on the second one.

I like this one as the distant cars are clearer - only two were really recognisable in the first shot. I'm not sure which I prefer really but this one draws your eye further which I like.
