We decided as we both were off and have had a freezing cold and stress filled week to have a pj day... A good decision as this little corner had nothing but sleet all day, the sky a morose yucky grey and not a lot to really get one thinking images.

So I watched the football and became more stressed, and we caught up with editing always a bonus for me I like editing images tis a learning curve every time. Finally trawled the forums on EPZ, read some older ones and same old same old in many cases. Some great and interesting ones too and a LOT of informative ones too.

Despite how many appear to see the awards system within EPZ, and I believe many folk do enjoy the thrill of an award, be that UA,EC,HC, or GEA we all like a pat on the back. My one minor gripe is the alleged click club scenario, as I have stated before in the forums, I look at many many images within a day, they entertain and inform, they teach and they delight. I vote on some and comment and vote on others, many of those ARE the same folks that is also my right, to favorite some and watch as they grow or learn as they post. If they choose to vote and comment thats good too. The MAJOR thing to come from this though is not the UA or the amount in total of comments and votes, but rather the friendships that grow, the knowledge shared and the overall good feeling when a comment can mean so much to one individual for one reason or another. If I ever get an HC, EC a GEA or god forbid a POTW.... It would mean so much to me personally simply for the fact that I had learned my craft and applied all gleaned over the months and years AND someone else in a position to award also liked it.

Stay safe, stay warm !

Till next time
