it's a very good attempt at a creative shot - but I think my very first impression is "what am I supposed to be looking at"
you've caught so much in this shot - 3 balls, the reflection on the main one, the arch of the shopping centre - they are all competeing for my attention.
what I'd prefer is one of them to be obvioulsy dominant - the one you intended us to look at first.
nice to see an experimental shot and get back there cause there's potential here

I think this is a pretty decent shot. I think I'd (as per the previous comment) make one of the balls more dominant. And I'd also clone the reflection of yourself - just to add some curiosity value. It might need rotating too. Great place for a shoot. Would be an intersting site for night (evening actually) shots.
Well done.

Maybe a different angle is required, think the Novotel hotel on the right is distracting. The arch of the Winter Gardens (not a Shopping Centre ade_mcfade, I'm a proud Sheffielder so just have to correct people
) should be the main focus or the fountains not both as ade_mcfade says. Maybe the night shot would be better, think like everything else we photograph, you're looking for that little difference. Just my opinion though.

Sorry it doesn't work for me. Its to busy and the building back left has no side elevation it looks like a film front. spheres are really hard to shoot without getting yourself in the reflection. May be go for the reflection as the focal point would give a good distorsion.
Sorry for the negativity but it is just my opinon.
