BACKGROUND & EQUIPMENT:
I'm an interpreter /[http://www.lookuppage.com/users/coenraadheijdemann/]translator[/link] of Dutch and English . As a teen, I printed my own b&w pics. After a long 'break' I shoot everything now, including colour. I upgraded from a Canon EOS IX SLR to a Canon EOS 20D, which I subsequently replaced with an Olympus OM-D E-M5 due to wanting to reduce the weight I carry. But I've been known to use pocket cameras etc. as well - especially since winning an Olympus mju700 (which was replaced after it fell and broke), and coming across an old Canon G5 converted for infrared...
Photography is my hobby, and I'm here to learn. And I have learned a lot since joining Ephotozine.com. But there's a lot more room for improvement, so suggestions are welcome!
PREFERENCES:
I used to prefer outdoor photography, but I don't limit myself to outdoor photography anymore. For landscapes I prefer Britain (when I was young, I lived in South Wales and Devon for a few years, and I don't seem to be able to keep myself from coming back regularly...). But many pictures are from my fatherland - the Netherlands.
