It's a special place, with otherworldy landscapes. Quite wonderful, I loved it! This time we only went to different ports, and on a few excursions, but ideally I'd like to rent a car and do an overland trek from coast to coast. Oh well ... some day ...

Hi Ju, thanks for your nice comment! So, you have a Great Dane by the name of Balu, that's quite a different dog with almost the same name! Smile

Our Ballou is a rescue, from Hungary. He was in a kill shelter there, and we were glad the charity we got him from managed to get him out, because my wife and I love him a lot!

It was great fun, highly recommended! Nice people, good models, and a great place for picturesque villages and deserted buildings. Photo heaven!

Same here. I have the 200 and love it. I might at some point go for something bigger, but for now there's no need - it easily takes my 20D and five lenses, accessories, etc. And this 300 model is even bigger.

I've owned this model for over a year now, and I'm very happy with it. There's really not much I can add to the comprehensive review above, except to say that I bought this after having tried the marque equivalent for my Canon DSLR first (borrowed it), and not having found great differences in operation or performance, and not being able to afford the Canon at the time, I got this one, and I've always been very pleased with it, both in the way it works, and in terms of results.

No, doesn't work for me. It's simply not there. I reported a possible incompatibility problem (Firefox?) and I was sent this link, which does work: click here. So anyone who, like me, has trouble finding the competition using the link from the homepage, may want to use this link instead.

At present, the link on skye.co.uk to "BACK TO NATURE

Hello Paul! After having several of your pictures on my Favourite Photos page, I thought it was time to let you know how wonderful I think your photos are. You take such stunning pictures, I am always in awe when I visit your portfolio. So - keep up the good work, and come up with many more of those crackers!

I have now seen so many absolutely brilliant shots appearing in your portfolio that I just have to make a portfolio comment. Of all the photographers on my Favourite Photographers list, you are one of the few that never disappoint with their uploads - it's one cracker after another. Wonderful, wonderful images. So - keep up the good work!

I just want to say that there really are no words to describe the quality of the photos in your portfolio - terms like "brilliant" and "wonderful" just don't cover it. It's one of the reasons I often just look at your photos and don't comment, because I simply don't know how to describe my awe and wonderment...

I think both your portfolio and you deserve some general comments, Ian. Not only have you treated us to some really nice shots, but, on a more personal note, I think of you first when I think of helpful and pleasant fellow EPZ members. Your moderating is done, well, in moderation, so to say. Wink And your comments in the gallery and the forum range from helpful and well-balanced to witty and sometimes even slightly naughty (in a good sense, though). All in all, I'd say it's good to have you around, and EPZ wouldn't be the same without you and your portfolio.

Your portfolio is a place I go to be inspired - I love good architecture shots (and an occasional flower photo), and you certainly have some excellent examples. Excellent? What am I saying? There are quite a few perfect photos in your folio. Great stuff!

I'm glad we can now comment on entire portfolios, for you deserve praise for yours!

You have an inspiring portfolio with photos of a creative quality I may never achieve.

But I would also like to take the opportunity to say that I feel you are part of what makes this site, because you're one of those EPZ members who are always ready to help out, make supportive comments, and put things in perspective when discussions tend to get out of hand.

May you go on doing so for a long, long time!
