Kinderdijk (NL)

By conrad
Nothing spectacular, just a tree I liked. Oh, and a few windmills thrown in, of course. That's what you get when you decide to stop at Kinderdijk. Wink

Just a few minor tweaks including a slight crop, nothing major done in post processing.

Beautiful image. I can imagine the canal curving on for ever.

I hardly recognised the place, it was such a miserable day when I was there last autumn.

I like the composition the tree works well.

Nice shot, good composition. The canal leads the eye down to the windmills.

Superb shot. The water leads the eye in past the tree to all the windmills.

Thanks, everyone!

Do go some time, Ron - it's one of the most photogenic places I can think of in my country.

ahhh, the other side of the ditch.

That would have resulted in showing part of the bridge immediately on the left (but now out of sight), Cole. So I sacrificed a few very small parts of branches of the tree for the greater good! Wink

I like the tree echoing the direction of the clouds and I've had the cheek to post a mod!
