Paul - Yes, "Kinderdijk" means "Children's Dyke" in English! Not sure why they chose that name - there are no less than four stories that could explain the name, ranging from the simple one that the main dyke was built by a child labour force to a Moses-like story about a baby in a reed basket who survived a flood and was found near the dyke.
