The idea I had today to visit a few locations I don't usually pass on my way home and take some photos didn't work out due to traffic queues I really wanted to avoid. So instead of a picturesque route I followed one that didn't have one thing I wanted to photograph.
Finally the light went, and sunset came. I could see some really nice colours developing in an interesting sky. I looked around and saw the one thing that always says 'interesting photo': a windmill. Should make for a nice silhouette, doesn't it?
But I could see that it was going to be quite the fleeting, brief moment. Once I'd reached the windmill, there was no time to lose. I whipped out my iPhone and even took the shot through the window.
