Missing My Model

Now that my favourite model, my dear departed Ashley, is gone, I find myself looking around to see what others there are to photograph. On a boat trip during my summer holiday, there were several dogs on board. Couldn't get a clear shot of most of them (pity, there were some really good-looking cocker spaniels among them), but this Jack Russell was close and sat still long enough for me to get this shot.

I have a dog but he is very camera shy. Unless there was one made of doggy chocolate he just isn't interested. I'd never get a shot of him and good as this one. It is a hard subject and this is a great example. Well done mate.....Peter

Thanks, Peter, very kind of you.

The camera shy ones in my life are my family members - especially the children are terrible, always seem to be able to avoid a camera lens. Which is why I don't have a lot of photos of them. Animals are usually easier...
