I'm still trying out photo apps on my iPhone. Once again an app that no one will take very seriously, but it's fun - although only suitable for a very limited number of applications.
News Booth allows you to quickly add a news format and headlines to a photo, or part of a photo, creating an image that looks like it belongs in the news media.
You can choose between using an existing photo or taking a new one, there are four news formats to choose from, and then you can enter two headlines.
When you're done, you can upload the 'news' image to social media.
The result looks like this:
My son Morgan made his first cheesecake, and we had a taste yesterday. Tasted great, just very heavy stuff - I quickly calculated that the whole thing was no less than 800 calories, so it was just as well that we all ate just a tiny piece (and even with that I went over my maximum number of the calories for the day).
