Photo Location Parking Frustrations

It happens to me so often I couldn't possibly count how many times: you're driving along some road, and you see a wonderful photo location. But there's nowhere to park the car, or even to stop (legally). So the photo location disappears into your rearview mirror and eventually it disappears altogether.

Not always, fortunately. Sometimes there's a side road you can take, or a way of circling around and approaching the location from another side, or ... well, sometimes with a bit of creativity you can get your shot anyway. But not always.

The photo below shows one the locations that frustrate me somewhat - a very nice windmill, with a bit of water in front, right next to a Dutch motorway, the A15. No services or parking areas in sight in either direction, and no way to approach the mill (by car) from the other side - I did look it up on Googlemaps, I did find its twin mill a little more inland from the motorway and photographed it, but I just couldn't find a way to get to this mill.

And so I always just whizz past, but not without looking at it and wishing I could find a way around the problem.

It's an annoying one that seems to happen to me fairly regularly.
