Portrait Textures
28 May 2015 12:48PM Views : 4675 Unique : 732I haven't had time to write more about my photo model holiday in Bulgaria up to now, but it's time to tell you a little more. I'm jumping over a few days and going to the end of the shooting days, the last day, Friday. We went to what turned out to be my favourite shooting location, a derelict cottage, quite close to where we were staying. Peter had the key, so we couldn't just shoot outside, but inside as well. After a lot of cursing of gypsies, who apparently had trashed the place a lot worse than it was already since he'd last been there, he gave me access to the cottage, and we took some shots in a room without a roof, in a room with a barred window, and then on the porch. What a great location - so many textures to shoot, so many old and decreprit things to include in the shots, and so many ideas buzzing around in my head.
Of course, after the model had left, I remembered I'd forgotten one idea which I thought would have worked really well. Sigh.
Anyway, I thought I'd give you a bit of a preview of one of the last shots I took there. It shows wonderful textures on the walls, I love it just for that reason alone. And the model looks great, of course.
But those textures...! The finished image is in the gallery, here.
This is what the image looked like before I did the post-processing:
