Snapseeded Alley

I've never photographed as many alleyways as during my last holiday. It must be a Mediterranean thing.

It's a bit of a challenge - even when the weather is good, the light in alleys is invariably very tricky for photography, mainly due to all the shadows. So I found it difficult to get it right.

But even if the picture didn't turn out to be ideal in terms of lighting, I still often found it interesting enough to play around with - which is why I took some of the alley pictures on my iPhone, it gave me something to play with on holiday.

This is one of those shots. Photographically speaking I think I should admit to having manipulated it to death, yet there's something about it that I like.
