Neist Point (Improved Processing)

By conrad
My Neist Point photo again, but this time I've tried to be less trigger-happy on the Photoshop buttons, while still retaining some oomph. I think it has indeed improved, although it still won't be to everyone's taste.

One of those rare really sunny moments during the Skye Meet.

An impressive bit of coastline, captured most effectively in this portrait format.

An improvement on both previous versions. Loaded a mod with space cropped from the bottom; lighter contrast in the bottom half, darker blacks in the clouds; highlights toned down in the lighthouse.

Thanks for the mod, Willie, you've taken the improvements further than I have. A learning experience... Smile

And thanks for the comments so far, everyone!

Right on the very edge of the known world...A long way from home...Lovely shot well composed. Chen.

Certainly a rugged outcrop, like the details in the rock and the light too
