R.I.P. Ashley

By conrad
I've had to say goodbye to my good friend Ashley today. That was hard. She meant a lot to me.

Anyway, on my iPhone I found a photo of her that I think I never posted before, so I thought I'd use that. It's from this year, so relatively recent.

And yes, I know the processing is a bit over the top - it was one of the first times I ever used the Snapseed app, and I was a little bit trigger happy when I used it to process this shot. But I don't care, I like the shot because the main subject looks good. And that's how I want to remember her.

For more photographic highlights from Ashley's life, see my blog post (click here ), or my Dogs album .

Thanks for looking.

I really feel for you, losing them is so hard. From this shot, I'd say she enjoyed getting out and seeing what was going on, even if she wasn't as agile as she used to be.

You have some lovely shots in your Dog Album to remember her by.

Thanks, everyone. You know, this whole thing reminds me of the reason why I started my photography hobby years ago, namely to create good memories. And I have lots of photos which provide me with good memories of my time with Ashley.

Thanks for the thoughtful comments!
