V2 for the light but I prefer the composition in V1 as you get a feel of its surroundings with the horizon and tree in the background, so the jury is out between two wonderful images Lillian. - gary

That's marvellous wingspan he has. I hope to see an Eagle on Sky next week, but it won't be as close as this beauty. In the wild they're way up in the mountains, but they do make their presence felt at times. The smaller birds spot them before I do.

In my opinion the Golden Eagle is the ultimate bird of prey, stunning bird you have done very well to capture lovely sharpness, and detail in an inflight shot. Which is very difficult regardless wether the bird is in the wild or in captivity. Now i have seen this im wanting to get myself to our local falconry centre.
