'Close Encounter of the Humpback Kind 2'

By briantjjones
The tail shot of a Humpback whale at Aukes Bay Alaska. This particular whale just appeared out of the blue and was so close to the boat before doing a deep dive to feed on Krill. Is was so close that even at the widest lens setting I could not get the whole tail in the shot. I've converted to mono which seemed to provide a better contrast.

Thanks for taking the time to view Smile

Regards, Brian J.
