Dromedary of Marrakesh

By ColleenA
Good day.....
Thank you for your votes and comments...also a big thank you to Jukka (Kuvailija) for his UA, much appreciated...
Marrakesh had Dromedary (a one humped camel) on every street corner...smelly creatures, but I love their facial ex[ressions...thought them apt for silly Sunday...
Have a nice day...

Gary_d's mother in law had better not see that comment of his or life might be shortened for him.........WinkWinkWink.
Great set, Colleen.
I always think camels have such supercilious expressions, looking down on the rest of us with contemptuous disdain.
My favourite just has to be V 5.

A lovely set featuring these desert delights.

Ronnie is so right. The last time I saw facial expressions like that was when I was in the private patients' waiting room in the local private hospital. I love to go there wearing T shirt and jeans and watch the lemon-sucking snobs expressions of horror as I wait in there for my appointments!

Great set Colleen, perfect for silly sunday.
Can imaging the guy in V1 singing along to John Denvers song....

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely
Sunshine almost always makes me high.

Silly Sunday after all.

Recently somebody had images of either camels or perhaps it was your Santorini donkeys
and since then I've felt sympathy for these beasts of burden. I have had a camel ride in Lanzerote -
it's what we do but I wonder how it feels to hump people about all the time?
That said you've got a few good angles and I love V3 - dignified and that lovely curve of the
neck and munching a mouthful of grass.

Great set of images Colleen! I have to catch up with everyone`s work as I have been to Cornwall on holiday for 2 weeks and deliberately steered clear of the internet,TV,newspapers and any other mularky ( which I did not realise was so hard to do!) to have a complete break and it`s been great! I only took my Fuji and got back to some photography basics but still managed 1500 images Smile cheers, Ian
