Why the sunflowers were all bent over and broken?
It was the birds-- the little American Goldfinches who liked the ripening seeds so much they would perch upon the flowers and enjoy lunch...
They were not paying attention and Rascal, the 'wannabe flying' cat would pounce ...
The birds scattered and he went down with the flowers---
I don't think he caught any birds, and this propped up branch is all that is left of many tall sunflowers
This is a true story--
and it was rather amusing to watch----silly cat!
I might try this one in mono when we finish traveling.
