What a lovely sailing boat with it's Great Britain logo - don't know wha tthe numbers signify though.
Pity you missed the top of the sail but great to see you back.

Hello Gwynn so nice to have you back on epz. A lovely image....those numbers on the sails are much the same as a car number plate. Hope to see more uploads from you

Think the letters stand for Great Britain.... but I could be wrongTongue
Are they dragging something behind the boat?

The red symbol denotes that this boat is of the Sigma 33 class, once an extremely popular one design cruiser/racer class. In the early nineties National Chamionships had over 80 boats, this year just 17. It's sail number GBR 4606 is issued by the governing body, the RYA. In a class like this, the RYA would normally issue a block of numbers to the builder so all the boats in the class would have similar numbers. It would be possible to find boats from another class with the same number - they would, of course, have a different class symbol. - you did ask!

For me, this image needs the top of the mast or cropped lower down and the horizon levelled.

I think what you see behind the boat is nothing other than breaking water from the wake, perhaps amplified by coinciding with a wave.
