Works well for me, and how well it stands out against the black b/g.
I have never tried a B and W conversion of a floral image so must have a go at this too.

Delicate, attractive. I like the contrast between the petals and the middle bit. ( botany is obviously not my strong point:Sad))

I think this one works even better than the last, Christine.
Texture, form, curves and the contrast of the light centre, that works really well.
