No idea where this might be, but it looks a cheap, free way of getting the car washed! 😁 A well-timed capture, Kath, like it 👍
Thanks for your vote and comments on my Zebrephant - and no, not horrendous weather here today, in fact, the sun's shining! 🌞

Well I'm busy looking for an extreme Rose Royce😂😂😂😂........great title, Kath!!!! Looks very bleak and I can see wind-turbines on the horizon so my best wildest guess is somewhere on the NW coast or perhaps I-O-M (very sketchy, you can tell I've go no idea🤔🤔🤔Wink. Hurry up and put us all out of our misery, you wicked girl😆😂🤣!!!

Trev, we have a guest appearance from the sun too! Loved your barmy zebra elephant, super processing! Thank you so much for your award too. 😊

Oooh another clue, OK so NW then I'm gonna go for up the squirrel, soz I mean The Wirral!!!!!????

Angela😄

I am not going to even try to guess other than somewhere in the UK? We have spots like this especially along the Fundy coast and one causeway that is often closed because the sea washes up over it.

Fabulous image Kath. Iíve no idea where it is. There is a road leading to Sunderland Point which gets covered by the tide but I donít remember any rocks! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you all so much, especially Angela for joining in the daft Sunday silliness.

Okay I shall come clean, in line with the water theme! The road with the cars on is the B6138, Cragg Vale from Mytholmroyd. The road is the longest continual ascent in England, 968 feet of climbing in 5.5 miles. Not steep but a long drag and in cycling terms, a power climb.

The Tour de France peleton came up here in 2014. Highest Elevation 1,269 ft.

The water is not salty at all, in fact it is Blackstone Edge Reservoir where the road ends and the happy people are joyously leaving West Yorkshire for glorious Lancashire! The Reservoir is 1250 ft above sea level! It is so open and wild that on the day the shot was taken, cars were stopping.

The road is seriously undulating at the side of the water and the rocks are there retaining the water, hopefully!

Thank you all.

Thanks for commenting Glenn. It isn't the sea though, it's a freshwater reservoir. Was in a bit of a state!

That's a heck of a puddle. Well done for braving the elements Kath - that is unless you shot it from your car window but I'm sure not! Not for the faint hearted. Imagine getting up there on the bike only to find the road flooded - I'd be gutted! Another good gritty image.
