  • Stay Out of the Fog

Beautiful, with a slightly sinister edge to it.

  • Circles of Shadows

This scene was meant for mono!

  • Corner Windows

The colour version definitely works better for this shot and I like how the strong architectural lines fill the frame and the pattern repeat gives an abstract quality. It would be good to see how this shot looks in daylight also.

  • Roller coaster park

Not often you would get away with a horizon that slopes like that one, but totally appropriate here; it gives the viewer the same perspective as if they were on that thing. It's a little disorientating, which is perfect given the subject. Suits mono.

  • Missing puzzle

Great image. I agree with the first comment - it is slightly unsettling. The brain recognises the elements of a building but knows it just shouldn't look like this and that makes it very intriguing. Suits mono very well.

Just seen both your latest uploads. For me this is the better of the two - it is repeating what has already been said, but it is all about the lighting, which is just lovely.

  • Toadstools (2)

Is it strange that I find this slightly disturbing? I think this has awakened a fungi phobia. I mean all of this in a good way!

  • Wonderful variety in your PF Danny - a real pleasure to browse through. Caroline
  • Stuart - I have just been catching up, having a look at some of the portfolios of people who have commented on my shots, and it is always a pleasure to find quality such as that contained here. You clearly have an eye for the beauty of details in a scene which others may overlook. Regards, Caroline

  • Nikki, I apologize for not having the time to comment individually on all the shots I like. Your portfolio shows how it is not always necessary to travel miles from home to capture some wonderful images of nature. Caroline

  • Kim, what a great portfolio, packed with stunning images. Further to that, you are a nice bloke, taking time to give encouragement to newbies like myself. Nice website btw.
  • Patrick, thanks so much for commenting on my photos. I am blown away by the quality of your portfolio. You live in one of my favorite areas of the world; I will be over there again in the spring and your images will be such an inspiration to me. Well and truly on my list of faves.

  • This has to be one of the most underated portfolios on this site. Very inspiring.
  • Gary, what a great portfolio, some really beautiful images. You have only been into digital less than a year? This is very inspiring for a newbie such as myself. Caroline.
