OK Alan, you are not in Greece then.
I bet you would be a rubbish singer anyway !!
Hits the right note for me this one,
but sadly,no bum notes to be seen !!

Nicely done. Not the easiest shot to get imo.

A lovely winter scene and composition Alan. This is a wonderful shot but I just wonder ( just a personal view of course )if a crop across the bottom; enough to remove about two thirds of the river width, would add just a tad more emphasis to the overall picture. Most of the reflection from the far bank has been spoiled anyway by encroaching on to the nearside bank.
Just my idea and in no way intended as a criticism of this lovey shot.

I think you are probably right Ron.But sometimes one does not see faults in one's own images that are so apparent to others.Vanity is one of the main shortcomings of most photographers, and there are a lot of those on this site. Thanks for your honesty.
Cheers

I cannot imagine why you would say that.

A good pic of the cottage which I think is most photogenic at this time of the year.

A beautiful tranquil place with a hint of warmth with the sunlight on the far bank, which contrasts nicely with the frost on the nearside. Very well done, Bill.
