Good Morning to you all.

Back from my little holiday "not" and after a good nights sleep in my own bed I feel that I am ready to face the world again.

Thank you all for your most gracious comments, and messages of support not only yesterday but throughout what has been a rather unfathomable week for me.

Todays upload was captured whilst out and about a little while ago at St Mary's Island near Chatham. I was instantly drawn to the subject and the wonderfully straight pin point perspective that it gave me, and although at first I did not like the figure in the shot, I now feel that it adds to the interest at provides one with a focal point on which to concentrate on.

I hope that you all have a great day for me it's all about R 'n' R.

Regards as always Nathan

I like this one too, Nathan, and I find the figure's presence does add to appreciation of scale, space and distance: I also like the lower framing on either side by the white fencing (?).......allows the eye to sweep along the boardwalk, which is a recently modern addition, I guess, as are the very modern flats overlooking the basin.

The distant figure in the white top makes this, Nathan. A focal point that is necessary in this dark and foreboding image taken, one presumes, immediately before the heavens opened.
