Clamping in London Borough's hits all time high...

By NDODS
An image which I captured a couple of weeks ago now which I thought would make a rather satirical Silly Sunday submission.

Thank you all so very much for your most appreciated comments and votes following yesterdays upload 'De Fence' with a further mention going to Chillman(Andrew) and nonur (Nezih) for presenting me with their User Awards.

The sun is shining here in the SouthEast at the moment so a little stroll with Julie and Kizmet may be on the cards.

I sincerely hope that you all have a wonderful day.

Regards Nathan

How extraordinary - presumably for security not sanction!
Good to see the old lady. When I was a very small child I lived next door to an elderly retired sea captain who had served on her when she was operating commercially.

Two great Silly Sunday shots, this van clamped for illegal parking - or to stop someone driving off in it?!! Wink

I like the light blue colour on V1. The visual light is better with that.
But two nice captures. Well done Nathan. WesternRed.

I know of a mechanic in London who posts on the Land Rover forum I frequent, who has manufactured a false one which he uses to 'clamp' his own vehicle in order to prevent being done by the real thing. Apparently it fools the clampers into believing he's already been caught.Grin

V1 - and is it a paranoid anti-theft device, perhaps?

Which is just as silly as clamping a vehicle clearly so close to home!

Clever, just shows the depths they go to, Si
Why clamp a vehicle hat you can pick up and put under your arm.

Nice one.

I once came across a chap who said he always clamps his own car so the clampers will think they've already done it. I have no idea whether the ruse works, though.
