Floral trio...

By NDODS
Something out of my comfort zone which I hope you will like.

Thank you all so very much for all the open and honest critiques and for the great modifications. I was quite amazed how one image could attract so much attention. I certainly learned a great deal which I will put to good use in future photographic ventures.

I hope that you all have a great day ahead, for me it is going to be a rather chilling day after a rather bad night.

Regards as always Nathan

I think you made the right choice of lead image, Nathan, though all are most beautiful, with perfect backgrounds. Carol

Like the soft light and tones Nathan and good boken too.
For me the bottle needs to be soften off a bit as thats were your eye ends up, Version 3 is the wrong choice of bottle as the lines make it too dominant.
Good to play

V1 works best for me - partly down to composition and processing, mainly down to choice of bottle. It's the simplest and best balanced, to serve as an anchor, to prevent the flowers from wanting to topple over on the screen.
I like the sense of the flowers leaning leftwards, rather yearningly, sadly. I'd like to see a bit of light catching them here and there, you've gone for a very understated look but it's also a wee bit flat, it needs just the odd flash of light touching the petals to give them definition - but not a lot.
I love your background. Just the beauty of light.

Well these are all are interesting images.
Such pretty blossom..and really like the bottles.
A gripe not I add about the photography, but the cut off stem in V2 and V 1..
For some reason it just looks wrong to me artistically.

I like all three today Nathan.
Moira maybe has a point with the bottle in V2 looking as if the flower might topple
but I love the bokeh in V2.
I love all three bottles and hope you'll take more images including them.
Keep up the good work - you sure give us variety.

Beautiful Nathan it's another message in the bottles, it's spring and i'm still alive and to see some colour after this long winter is lovely. Wait a minute must check
with the wife to see if i'm still alive, she said yes but i'm a very miserable git and a pain up the arse. Blush
